Things You Can Do After Finishing Terraria

After beating the final boss of Terraria, the Moon Lord. You've pretty much finished the game. But there are still things you can do after finishing the game! Here are my top 3 things to do after finishing the whole Terraria:

1. Purify your world

The first thing you can do after finishing the game, is to completely remove the evil biome (corruption or crimson, depends on your world) and hallow biome in your world. You can accomplish this task by buying a clentaminator from a Steampunker NPC. The Steampunker NPC is a Hard mode NPC. She will only appear after you've defeated at least one Mechanical Boss and if she has a room to stay. Along with the clentaminator, the NPC also sells the ammo you will be needing in order to purify your world. The clentaminator can also be put in the shimmer and transmuted into a terraformer. It is the upgraded version of clentaminator which gives you a wider range and a chance to save ammo. To see your progress in purifying the world, you can interact with the Dryad NPC. Also, completely removing the evil biome and hallow biome will give you an achievement.

2. Collect the developer items

Since most bosses are easier to kill after you've defeated Moon Lord and you're pretty much already at your best set of armors and weapons, the second thing to do on the list is to collect all of the developer items. If you love vanity items, you can farm some of the developer sets which are dropped by Hard mode bosses. Personally, I'm trying to complete all of the developer sets just for my own satisfaction. Though, I've got a lot of farming to do since I only have 3 developer sets out of 18 right now.

Collecting the developers' set isn't that difficult since they have a 1/20 or 5% chance of getting dropped from a boss loot bag. If you're interested in collecting these sets, I recommend going to the Jungle biome and look for Plantera's bulb. The only downside in farming loot bags from Plantera is that you'll have to wait for Plantera's bulb to spawn after clearing out the entire jungle. So, an alternative that I would recommend is to farm the Golem. Although, farming the Golem require a few things which are Lihzahrd Power Cell and Lihzahrd Altar. The Lihzahrd Power Cell is used to summon the Golem by interacting with the Lihzahrd Altar. If you want to do this method instead of farming Plantera, you have to farm a lot of Lihzard Power Cell that are dropped by Lihzahrd and Flying Snake at the Jungle Temple. On a side note, you can bring the Lihzahrd Altar at your home after you've farmed enough Lihzahrd Power Cells and start killing the Golem.

3. Play Terraria mods

Let's now move on to the final thing to do after you've finished Terraria. Since you've pretty much done anything you can do, you can play some of the most popular mods of Terraria such as the Calamity mod, the Infernium mod, the Thornium mod, and many more! You can play these mods by downloading tModLoader. These mods offer a ton of new items, weapons, armors, and bosses!
